No filters are to be expected: Cade is extremely bitter and cynical, but with a dose of attention seeking-- albeit through some questionable means. Racist magicians bring a frown to Cade's face, but it doesn't seem that Cade is any more interested in trying to protect humans from said sort of racism. A sort of blooming social justice warrior, but not quite. Aggressive in imposing own views onto other people.

Cade likes to read, but doesn't read a lot. More time is spent tinkering with chemicals alone in the school lab, or hijacking some unfortunate dorm rooms to test out some poisonous gas. Now that when Cade had graduated from school, an apartment away from campus was probably the best choice for everyone involved.

Cade can be very loyal to fellow friends or followers of ideals. 

History:

The Moriarties were a long line of magicians specialized in air manipulation, specifically wind. It was perhaps fate that the United Kingdom was the best place for wind energy industry in Europe, so they accrued quite an amount of money -- enough that they would want the successing generations to follow their footsteps.

When the Moriarty twins were born, the family was elated. However, when one child, Amelie, was already floating in the air when she was a wee one, Cade remained dormant. For a long time, the parents had assumed that Cade was only a late bloomer--however, they eventually learned that Cade had no magical powers whatsoever. In panic, they contracted their child to a gas entity, partially because they wanted Cade to have the right affinity to inherit family's business, and partially because an air entity was much easier to hide from scrutinous outsiders.

What they didn't take into account for, however, was that Cade wasn't interested in continuing the family's business -- not when the family was so ashamed of their achromat. Perhaps the entity sensed this, too, and gifted Cade the affinity of gas poison instead of wind manipulation. Many a times Cade had "accidentally" smoked out the family out of childish spite. Cade enrolled in Concordia under the guise of a magician who wants to learn more about other affinities related to gas manipulation, though the real purpose was to find different ways to apply poison gas and learn about poison in general-- and how to make a name in the black market alone, knowingly tarnishing the family's reputation.

• Registered as a Magician because the family was all magicians. Also passed the test for being one.
• Twin sister has the family's inheritance.
• Has a cane which has a dagger inside, imbued with immobilization poison.
• Also carries around some vials for poisonous gas... in case of emergency.
• Has been in Concordia since 11 years old... so, yes, Cade was getting quite bored of the place. But at least the family didn't have to pay for tuition!
